Free Foreclosure Listings - How To Instantly Get Access
    by Scott Jenkins

Are you looking to profit or potentially save a bucket full of money on your next home purchase? I bet you are! Your timing is perfect. It's been a very long time since prices of homes have dropped as much as they have in the current real estate market. There are some really excellent deals to be found especially if you are looking to buy a home to live in for at least the next ten years.

As prices continue to drop and more and more variable rate mortgages adjust opportunities present themselves. I am seeing nearly one new bank owned property come onto the market in my local area every single day. I bet the same is true in yours.

Most of the foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, and short sale listings available today are sold by banks through real estate brokers. The banks own the homes and use the real estate brokers and agents to advertise and sell them.

All you need to do to find these listings is contact the bank directly. Before the internet you would have to call each bank individually and ask them to fax you their complete list. You would have to sort through their list to find the one or two properties that would match your housing needs. Fortunately, all if this information is now easily sortable and accessible through most banks websites.

You just have to know where to look.

For whatever reason the banks don't make it easy on you. Many will bury the page deep within their website. I have dug the proper search page out of the biggest lenders websites and compiled them into one list. The list below will get you well on your way to locating some of the best deals in real estate that we have seen in a very long time.

    Fannie Mae

Fannie Mae - Bank Owned Property

    Freddie Mac

Freddie Mac - Bank Owner Property

    HUD

    HUD - Bank Owned Property

I make a similar list to this one to all of my clients that are interested in foreclosures and short sale property. I publish this list online Free Foreclosure Listings. There is a Fairfield County CT slant to the list as I also include all of the local banks that are in the area and list some of what I believe to be the best foreclosure deals on the market.

I also make available a multiple listing service search for Fairfield County CT. If you are looking for a house anywhere in the country you should try to find a similar mls service similar to the CT MLS information I give away. You will find it to be an invaluable tool. Don't let anyone try to charge you money for it.
